Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information LenaSokolov.com ("the website") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to the free Essential Skincare Guide signup and any optional email updates you choose to receive.

When you request the free Essential Skincare Guide, the signup form collects your email address and, optionally, your first name. Your name, if you choose to share it, may be used to personalize the emails you receive. This information is used to deliver the guide you asked for.

The signup form may also offer you the option to separately consent to occasional emails from me. This marketing consent is entirely optional and is never required to receive the free guide. If you opt in, that choice will be recorded so your preference can be honored.

Your information is used to:

• Deliver the Essential Skincare Guide you requested.
• Send occasional emails — only if you have explicitly opted in through a separate marketing-consent checkbox — which may include beauty, skincare, wellness, and healthy-living content, new articles or videos, product recommendations and favorites, and occasional promotional or affiliate-related content.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email. Unsubscribing is immediate and does not affect any guide you have already received.

The website uses a small number of service providers to operate. Supabase stores and processes signup information, and Resend is used to deliver email communications, including the requested Essential Skincare Guide. These providers process information as needed to provide their services.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand website traffic and how visitors use the site.

Google Analytics may collect information such as pages viewed, device/browser information, approximate location, traffic source, and interaction data. Analytics data is used to understand site performance and improve content and user experience.

We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, skincare-guide form values, subscriber IDs, unsubscribe tokens, re-subscribe tokens, or other directly identifying form information to Google Analytics.

Google Signals and advertising-personalization features are disabled in the current implementation.

Signup information is kept for as long as needed to deliver the guide and any emails you have opted into. If you unsubscribe, your record is retained in suppressed form so that your unsubscribe preference continues to be honored. You may request deletion of your information at any time (see below).

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting me (see "Contact" below). I will respond to genuine requests within a reasonable timeframe.

Lena Sokolov does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect your information, including encrypted connections and restricted access to stored data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

This website is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact me so it can be removed.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date above.
